Notes: A lot tropes do not have individual prompts - this just means that I didn't have any particular ideas when submitting it, but does not mean that I like it any less than the ones I did list. A trope having only one prompt doesn't in any way mean it's the only way I'm interested in seeing that trope. Tropes are listed alphabetically.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to take a gander over here at my detailing letter for the waybackexchange. I'm super happy to be a part of this exchange - it looks as though there's so many good canons out there that people have nominated! (this is my first time doing this, so I'm doubly excited.)

If you'd like to get a look at what I do/what I like, my Ao3 is newyorktopaloalto

General notes: I love character development and character interaction. I will read anything from fluff to dark!fic to case!fic and &c., as long as it feels correct atmospherically, thematically, and within characterization. I also love introspection and characters angsting about various things. DNWs are on my AO3 sign-up, but please don't hesitate to contact me if you have a question regarding anything specific - I'm pretty loosey-goosey :)

Ratings/Content/Warnings: Do what you will, dude! :D I write from Gen to Explicit, and I don't have much care as to your rating. (This includes sex, violence, horror, and other potential rating issues.)

Star Trek: Enterprise
I've got faith of the heart that anything written for me in this canon will be totally awesome!

Honestly? I'm not too picky with ENT stuff, as long as Reed isn't perpetually abused, T'Pol has a personality, and you only MINIMALLY write out Trip's accent. (Too many years in Newsies fandom to do this shit anymore.)

If you go Reed/Tucker (or Reed & Tucker), I like season 3 stuff, especially if it takes into account T'Pol and everything.

T'Pol/ (or &) anyone post season 3 is great, because dealing with emotions for the first time! (Or anything post marriage and/or separation)

If you don't want to completely ignore TATV, I am okay with taking beta canon into consideration (where Trip fakes his death to become a spy during the Romulan War - but I know that book came out after '09, so...)

Archer/(whoever) any time period in the series! I like the issues he would have with Reed as captain, or even the issues he would have with Shran before the official alliance and implementation of the Federation of Planets.

For whatever permutation of ships/characters, please don't ignore the other characters too bad - I like seeing everyone doing their thing every now and again.

Twister (1996)
This is one of my favorite movies of all time - I can quote most of it from memory, and I don't care who knows. (Also, watching it on TV sucks, because they always cut out the part where they're in a caravan and singing all the different songs.)

Even with ships/characters listed, I wouldn't mind a more ensemble focused piece, if that's more up your alley.

I wouldn't mind post-movie, trying to get back in the game, or the effects of dealing with breaking up and immediately getting together with your ex. But I also love case!fic, so I'm happy with pseudo science and storm chasing.

Firefly
This series, man, this series. Any ships listed are perfect with me, and so is any point in the canonical timeline. [Yes, I am fine with post-Serenity (the movie, not the episode - though I am fond of that as well, haha.)] As for the non-canonical Inara stuff - I could take it or leave it, though I usually prefer leaving it.

If you are doing one of the Jayne ships, I would love for it to be post-Ariel because of the drama.

Zoë stuff, I'll take whatever time period (though for the Zoë/Wash, I would prefer him still alive as opposed to remembering him or something.)

For Kaylee/Inara, I like her already having had been with Simon and them not working out for whatever reason.

Any of the character & (none, or insert character here) I would love a more introspective piece, really getting into the chosen character's head for whatever situation they might be thinking about.

Anything else, I'm happy with!

Atlantis: the Lost Empire (2001)
I saw this nominated and gosh, I had to both request and offer it, just in case.

Literally, whatever you do, I will be happy with. (Milo/Kida is one of my true OTPs) I also love how Atlantis is basically Stargate (movie/SG-1, not Atlantis) so if you wanted to include anything like that in the fic, that would be awesome!

Star Trek: The Original Series
Ah, baby's first fandom (HP doesn't count.) I have been watching TOS since before I could form memories, honestly.

I love, love, anything to do with the trio, and with Bones in particular - he is in my top three characters of all time. Actually, if Bones could be, like, the MC of the fic, I might die in the best way possible.

While I don't like woobie!fic, I do enjoy a good dose of h/c, and mission fic, and h/c on mission while it's hard to do anything about.

Please feel free to take the silliness of TOS and continue on with it, or take a more serious part of the canon and run away with that - the canon itself has multitudes and I don't mind fic being the same way.

Please, please, no Spirk without Bones, it's my one real DNW for TOS at this moment in time.
